We sadly announce the passing of Evelyn A. Danner, of Bloomingdale, Illinois. A Celebration of the life of Evelyn A. Danner was held Wednesday, Dec. 28 at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Memorial Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service, conducted by Father Tony of St. Isidore Parish at 11:30 a.m. Born Sept. 10, 1919 in Pueblo, CO, she passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at her home. Evelyn lived her life to love her family. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 64 years, Earl E. Danner Sr. She was also the loving mother of her son, Earl E. (Nancine) Danner and her daughter, Eve (Dan) Danner-Lentz. Evelyn was the beloved grandmother of Cheryl Danner, Lori (John) Paris, Desi and Zachary Lentz. She had four great-grandchildren, Cristian (Paris) Agbayani, Kyle and Morgan Harwin and Vincent Earl Paris. She is also survived by her friend and sister, Josephine Olson; and many adoring nieces and nephews. Donations sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. MONTE VISTA Criotilde P. Tillie Martinez, 95, of Monte Vista, died Sept.11, 2005.

She was born May 29, 1910 in Kerns, Colo. to Alfonso and Marina Perea.

Tillie enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, reading, gardening, singing, praying and especially spending time with her loving family.

Her parents; husband, Fred Martinez; three sons, Joe, John and Abraham Martinez; daughter, Carolina Martinez, daughter-in-law, Irene Martinez granddaughter, Annette Jiron; six sisters, Eliza Sanchez, Anne Martinez, Julia Archuleta, Maria Marquez, Firmina Valdez and Teodora Marquez; and three brothers, Belarmino Perea, Manuel Perea and Maxmillano Valdez, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Cordelia Cordy (Jose) Moran of Broomfield and Esther (Ernesto) Jiron of Lafayette; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Martinez of Grand Junction and Charlotte Martinez of Commerce City; two sons, Alfonso (Nickie) Martinez and Lonnie Martinez, both of Monte Vista; 40 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Marina Loomis of Farmington, N,M,; daughter-in-law, Esther Martinez of Monte Vista; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at St. Joseph Church in Monte Vista.

The Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the same church with burial following in the Monte Vista Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Wednesday at Romero Funeral Chapel (719-852-2222) in Monte Vista, which is directing arrangements.

Grandma Criotilde "Tillie" Martinez, age 95, of Monte Vista, Colorado passed away of natural causes in the late morning of Sunday, September 11th, 2005. Please see the obituary below for more about her, as well as her rosary and funeral arrangements.

03/20/05: Jose Hilario Martinez

We have more sorrowful news to report. We have had another death in the family. José (Joe) Martínez, age 92, passed away peacefully about 11am on the morning of Palm Sunday, March 20, 2005.

Beloved mother and grandmother, born on January 5, 1929, in Alamosa, CO, and deceased March 7, 2005, in Sacramento, CA. Preceded in death by her husband, Gasper E. Santistevan, sisters Mary Martinez and Teresa Clemit and brothers Murillo and Johnnie Martinez. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Nathans-Thompson (Kent), Kathy Deal-Coulthard (Dave), and Rachel Jacinto (Vern), and sons Mark and Anthony. Proud and loving grandmother of Desiree, Meredith, Eugene and Michael. Survived by sisters Margaret Valdez, Patricia Martinez, Pauline Dixon, Eva Lopez, brother Joe Martinez. Was completely committed to her family and to the Legion of Mary. Although you're gone, you will never be forgotten. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday, March 10, from 1:00-8:00 PM and Friday, March 11, from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Rd. Mass on Saturday, March 12, at 9:30 AM at St. Rose's Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery. Reception to follow.
